Jon Funk has a wide background of experiences. He has spent the last twenty-five years teaching Chinese Martial Arts. Besides his participation in the film industry his careers have involved free-lance writing, media sales, internet marketing, and event promotions.
It is his filmmaking passion that has developed into an understanding of how the cost effective process of action filmmaking works. Jon has worked on the sets of many local independent films, shorts, TV pilots, and commercials. Since most independent filmmakers cannot afford a huge investment in action scenes, Jon has developed the ability to bring them off without large budget requirements.
As a stunt coordinator, licensed armourer, and FX technician, Jon is an experienced action chorographer.
Jon is also the co-owner or the special skills background agency, Tactical Actions Group.
Jon’s annual workshop, Firearms for Film and Actor Action, are always popular with actors and are sold out each year.
